How this works: nothing is copied to us. “Add” sets a Drive reader permission on exactly the checked folders. The link opens our map, reads that person’s folders straight from Drive, and renders their pins. We host the viewer; Google hosts the photos.

OAuth client ID

From your Google Cloud project — see GOOGLE-SETUP.md. Client IDs are public by design; there's no secret and no server. Append ?client_id=… to this page's URL to skip typing it.

1Signs in with drive.file only — per-file access, nothing else in your Drive is visible.

2Creates or finds a folder named mypicpins.com.

3Lists photos and videos inside it and its subfolders, reading GPS straight from Drive's metadata — the files are never downloaded to find their location.

4Subfolder names become album names. Loose photos fall back to distance grouping.

5Anything without GPS runs the fallback chain, then lands in a Needs a location tray you can place by hand.
